Rachel Bogart Reagan Endorses Logan Baker for Sevier County Clerk, Shares Story Behind Dolly Parton Imagination Library License Plate

SEVIER COUNTY, TN — Logan Baker’s campaign for Sevier County Clerk is proud to announce the endorsement of lifelong Sevier Countian Rachel Bogart Reagan, whose family roots run deep in the county and whose behind-the-scenes vision helped bring one of Tennessee’s most beloved specialty license plates to life — the Dolly Parton Imagination Library plate.

For the first time publicly, Reagan is sharing how the project began.

In 2015, Rachel says she woke up with a vivid dream of a Tennessee license plate featuring Dolly Parton that would help fund Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, the program that provides free books to children from birth through kindergarten.

She immediately shared the idea with Dolly’s longtime business manager. After hearing the vision, he contacted Dolly, who gave her approval within moments.

Over the next two years, Reagan worked alongside Dolly’s team through meetings, design concepts, and development until the plate became a reality. Today, each plate purchased or renewed helps provide books to children across Tennessee.

“This project changed my life because it showed me the power of faith and obedience,” Reagan said. “I give God all the glory. When we trust Him and follow His calling, beautiful things can happen that bless others.”

Now, Reagan says she feels called to share her story for another reason — to publicly endorse Logan Baker for Sevier County Clerk.

“I truly believe Logan Baker would make a difference as our next County Clerk,” Reagan said. “We deserve good people in the courthouse and in our community. We need a valued Christian person to guide, protect, and support our well-loved Sevier County citizens and visitors. No one is better to serve as our County Clerk than Logan.”

A proud 10th-generation Sevier County descendant, Reagan said she values Baker’s heart for service, local roots, and commitment to treating every person with dignity and respect.

Baker said he was deeply honored by the endorsement.

“Rachel’s story is a reminder that some of the most meaningful work is done quietly, without seeking recognition,” Baker said. “She used her vision to help children across Tennessee, and now she’s using her voice to support our campaign. I’m humbled by her trust and grateful for her endorsement.”
